Meet the staff

bethany hollingsworth
Lead Pastor
Welcome! I'm Bethany Hollingsworth, and it's an honor to serve as Lead Pastor here at Great Oak.
At the heart of everything I do is a love for Scripture and a desire to help people follow Jesus in their everyday lives. I believe faith grows best in spaces where people feel free to ask hard questions, wrestle with doubt, and grow together rather than alone. Whether you're just beginning to explore who Jesus is or you've been walking with Him for decades, I hope you'll find that kind of space here.
As Lead Pastor, I'm devoted to teaching God's Word, shepherding our staff and leadership, and helping our church follow Jesus faithfully. I hold a Master of Arts in Local Church Ministry from Grace Theological Seminary, along with ten years of ministry experience including roles in worship ministry and as Associate Pastor.
Great Oak isn't just where I live out my calling, it's where I've lived out my own faith for most of my life. I was baptized in this church, my husband Drew and I were married here in 2007, and each of our five children have been baptized here too. God has used this community to shape me at every stage, and that history is part of why I love this church so deeply.
One of my greatest joys is watching God bring people from all walks of life together into genuine, caring relationships. Great Oak isn't just a place to attend, but a place to belong. My prayer is that you'll find what my family and I have found here: a place to grow, to connect, and to feel truly at home.

RODNEY CRAWFORD
Director of Youth Ministry
Hi, I’m Rodney! I was raised in church, but it wasn’t until my teenage years that I truly made my faith my own. I have spent several years working with youth, children, and young adults in a variety of ministry settings.
As the Director of Youth, my goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and fun environment where teens can explore their faith, ask tough questions, and build deep relationships with God and each other. I believe that every young person has unique gifts and talents that God wants to use for His kingdom, and I’m passionate about helping them discover and develop those gifts.
My hope is that every student who comes through our doors will feel seen, heard, and loved. When I’m not at church, you can usually find me spending time with my wife, playing video games/card games with friends, or at your local disc golf course!
