Sunday Service

Worship with us Sundays at 10:30 am!

At Great Oak you will find imperfect people who are real and caring. Just like you, we are doing this thing called life and it can be messy. But we have found hope in Jesus, and we want to share that with you!

If you have any questions please head over to our FAQ page for all the details!

New sermon series

We often think about the gospel like this: Jesus came 2,000 years ago (amazing!), and someday he'll return and we'll be with him in heaven (can't wait!).

But what about right now? What about today, this week, this season of your life?

That's the story we're exploring this Advent. Because when Jesus came, he didn't just secure our past and guarantee our future. He changed everything about how we live right now, in the waiting, in what theologians call the "already-but-not-yet" of God's kingdom.

Whether your Advent season is looking merry and bright, complicated and messy, or somewhere in between this series has something meaningful for you. Bring a friend. Bring your hopes and your questions. God meets us right where we are.

Decked out sunday

December 21st is Family Worship so deck your whole family out in Christmas gear - anything from fancy dresses to ugly sweaters or ornament earrings - the merrier the better!

Our Candlelight Service is a family favorite!

Join us Wednesday, December 24th at 6pm for worship, a nativity re-enactment, a special song by our children's choir, communion, and a reminder that Jesus is the light who entered the darkness.

We will end the service by lighting candles and singing Silent Night. Invite your family and friends!
